Caucus Fraud in the Democratic Primaries

Dr Lynette Long, National Coordinator-Research for Real Democrats, has organized and analyzed the caucus data to demonstrate how results were purposely manipulated and skewed to secure Obama's nomination.

Example: Nevada (a state Senator Clinton won)

"On January 19, 2008, Hillary Clinton won the Democratic Caucus 51%-45%, a comfortable six point win. The estimated National Delegates were Clinton 13 and Obama 12. At the County the percentages changed to 51% to 49% Clinton and the estimated National Delegate count was now Obama 13, Clinton 12. Nevada's twenty-five "pledged" delegates to the 2008 Democratic National Convention were chosen on May 17, Barack Obama had 55% of the votes and Clinton had 45% of the votes when the party had its state convention. There are 14 national delegates for Obama and 11 for Clinton. By time the contest reached the state convention and the delegate count was now Obama 14, Clinton 11. How is this 16 point swing possible? This is a four delegate swing. How did Clinton lose two delegates and Obama gain two delegates?"

Read that again: Clinton won the state 51%-45%, but ended up with 3 fewer delegates!

VOTER FRAUD ??? CHANGING THE NUMBERS ??? I wouldn't put anything past the present Democratic party with an idiot like HOWARD DEAN at the helm, calling the RNC " the WHITE PARTY ". That man must have marbles in his head instead of brains, to say something that STUPID in public. Announcements like that will surely backfire in any situation, especially in an already DIVIDED election. -- And if OBAMA is so narrow minded and short sighted NOT to add Hillary Clinton to the ticket, his ROAD TO THE WHITE HOUSE will be a very short one .-- If people like HOWARD DEAN keep making RACIAL STATEMENTS like he did yesterday, OBAMA without Hillary will surely loose the white voting block age 40 and older, and thats something he cannot afford inorder to get the presidency ! That statement was very offensive and divisive!!!!

I think it will take losing the White House this time around before the Democrats reform the party and its practices. At the moment the Democratic leadership is not dealing with reality, so they don't understand the points we are making about unfairness and betrayal. It is sad, but I think this will be a good example of "pride cometh before the fall...."

Obama did not do well in the TV conversation last evening. Even though McCain made several pro-life (what I call pro-birth, because that is what that position is really about; it's about birth, not life), I think in general he came across as being sincere, thoughtful and experienced. BO lacked all of that. I'm not happy about voting for a pro-birth candidate, but I can't support someone who is not up to the job at all....

Hillary Rodham Clinton DID NOT LOOSE. She was HINDERED BY HER OWN PARTY. CAUCUSES disinfranchise VOTERS who are unable to participate. Idaho Democratic Leaders promoted Obama all over the media prior to the State Caucus which was held the tuesday following Obama's "I love you Idaho" Gathering at Boise State. Obama uses Idaho as a TOOL to demonstrate his HUGE MARGIN OF VICTORY over Hillary. I was there, I watched it all unfold and I am dangerously angry at this SLICK tactic and will ALWAYS REMAIN LOYAL to the Great Senator from New York. We have become a nation of Greed and sadly we deserve every thing Reverend Wright proclaimed.

What should happen is that this fraud is totally divulged and prosecuted. Where are the election fraud watch groups? Oh, yeah...Maybe they're leftists. Pres Carter wants Obama, but he should say SOMETHING when frauds are perpetrated in his own country? Disgraceful and embarrassing to the Party? Well,I hope Bo falls on his face.

Anonymous: as far as voting for a pro-choice candidate:

I am a pro-choice person also; however I am definitely against partial-birth abortions. Some of the women I have talked to do not want to vote for McCain as he is pro-life, but I heard him say he wouldn't mess around with Roe v. Wade which should satisfy the pro-choice advocates.

I read where Obama believes that the fetus is just another part of a woman’s body which she should have complete control over and if that part is expelled breathing it is up to her to do with as she chooses. Sorry, but I took that to include murder and for all of his “Christianity” I cannot believe he is such a hypocrite. He voted against the infanticide bill, both in Illinois and in the U.S. Senate and those chickens are definitely coming home to roost - - he cannot lie himself out of this mess as the facts are on record.

It is my understanding that much of this discussion about "partial birth" abortions is misleading and ill-informed. The media and the right-wing have made it seem that women make the decision at this stage in their pregnancies to abort on a whim and for "selfish" reasons. The actual fact is that most abortions at this stage are for fetuses that are badly damaged and will suffer and/or do not have a prognosis for survival, if delivered.

There may be instances when this is not the case, but from what I have heard from doctors and woman who have made this decision, it was not at all what the media and "pro-birthers" make it out to be. It is rare and done only as a last resort....Live, healthy infants are not "murdered," because they are not wanted....

An interesting statistic: Did you know that with the allowance of safe abortions the instances of child abuse have decreased? In other words, making women give birth to unwanted children can be harmful to that child's health and well being....No one can legislate love and caring....

We all need to look beyond slogan and sound bites....

The whole premise behind Obama's partial-birth abortion stand is the one great fact: he lied. He has lied about his stand in many instances while in the Illinois State Senate: about his criminal and terrorist friends; redirecting state funds to those same criminal friends; about being attached at the hip with the Chicago corrupt machine and voting for their behalf; about the funding and ultimate purchase of his house; about redirecting funds so his wife could get another pay raise; and the list goes on and on and on. This abortion lie is only one of many. How can we trust this man to keep the promises he is making on the political campaign when he is caught in so many lies - - and this is only the beginning. Do you honestly believe that the Republications do not have more of Obama’s indiscretions at their disposal only waiting for the most advantageous moment to release these bombshells?

When researching the facts of Obama’s personal and political life, a pattern emerges and the facts do not support his claims. His corrupt friends, including the DNC, have been trying to cover and/or bury many of Obama’s past history, but not everything can be obliterated and eventually the truth will out.

The real story about our "abortion" debate is that it really is designed to divide and to deflect attention away from real issues. The fact is that while there are those who want to end all abortions in this country, they can't and will not succeed.

To suggest that they might have this power is completely unfounded in reality. Roe v. Wade is the law of the land and while there will be efforts to narrow its protections and scope, the notion that any one person or group can "undo" all of it is not realistic.

Even if it were possible, the states would step in and, at worst, we would have states that allow abortions and states that didn't. It then would be incumbent on those in the pro-choice states to run underground railroads to them for those women who are denied these options.

I recommend "What's the matter with Kansas" as a good discussion about how effective the abortion issue has been in deflecting many Americans' attention away from issues that really matter to their daily lives. It has been used to get these Americans to vote for elected officials who actually have undermined the survival and prosperity of their own people.

Let's not fall into the trap of arguing about abortion. It is as though the powers that be in both parties want us to fight on the front steps of Congress over abortion while both parties are at the back door making deals with oil companies, banks and agribusinesses over matters that actually impact our daily lives and the future of this country and the planet. Let's not be distracted....

Who’s really in charge of the elections?!?? From what I can ascertain on the News networks:

--Voting machine are not verified/certified and no one knows for sure if they will give an accurate accounting - - dropped votes, incorrect votes, etc. Also, can some outside hacker break into our machines and sabotage the results?

--Computer machines leave no paper trails so there will never be any way we can produce a recount if voter fraud is suspected.

--Some states issue driver’s licenses and register voters automatically. Illegal aliens have even been registered to vote in sanctuary states and other states don’t ask - - just register.

How will be really know what the real count is if we do not have control over our elections? All states using computer-generated voting should decease and desist and issue paper ballots (which are eventually fed into a machine but which can be recounted should the occasion arise). All persons requesting a driver’s license and/or voter registration should have to produce proof of their citizenship and should be authenticated through E-Verify.

We need to take back our elections as well as our country!

Did you see the HBO special "Hacking Democracy?" That documentary provides a lot of information about just how easily our voting can be manipulated by any Party....Paper ballots are not safe, because the machines that count them can easily be hacked into and made to produce whatever outcome is desired....

The truth is that neither Party has wanted to straighten this problem out, because both can now manipulate it....We saw what the Republicans have done and now with this primary, we have seen what the Democrats have also done. This is a very discouraging and important problem that we all need to pay attention to.

Christopher London: You might consider that Pennsylvania districts went predominantly for Hillary Clinton but their delegates and super-delegates voted against their constituency by voting for Obama. Researching the facts produced the individual compensation paid to those same delegates (I assume for services rendered). The listings show many states that produced the same results, only the amount of remuneration changed.
