Welcome

Real Democrats is a grassroots initiative whose primary purpose is to inform and educate. Groups in all 50 states are forming for this worthy endeavor. You can be part of this important effort by contacting us through your state coordinator to take direct action. [See Contact Us] This website was founded to reveal the corruption and distortions of the liberal and biased media as well as others who prohibited the free flow of ideas and truth. We invite you to peruse this website, join in the conversation, and become involved. It is only by banding together will we get the word out that the treatment of Senator Clinton by the media and the tactics of the Democratic Party are completely unacceptable.
Through action and education we will take back our party -- one neighborhood at a time.

I suggest before you panic about our financial crisis you take a deep breath and realize that fear and panic are the fuel of the crisis. Cool heads and rational thinking are what is needed to come up with the necessary solutions.

Solutions are possible and we must keep our eye on the ball--calming down the markets and returning stability to banks.

For all you conspiracy theorists: socialism is different from communism and most democracies successfully accommodate some forms of socialist/government control: take the post office for an example. Communism is the opposite of democracy and no one is suggesting a communist take over.

Investigations are critical to understanding what went wrong. That's why I support McCain's call for a 911-like commission. That will help us sort out what went wrong so we can fix these underlying problems. That commission should get started now, while efforts are being made to address the immediate issues that have become apparent.

Also, the use of the term "bailout" is inaccurate and misleading. It actually is a "loan." Most economic people feel that in time the American taxpayers could make money on such a investment of money.

I applaud McCain for going to DC and rolling up his sleeves to help. He is demonstrating his commitment to put country first. Obama just gives more speeches on how to magically get things done....He also is fear-mongering which he believes benefits his candidacy. That's about as low as you can go....

There is a law suit being filed that questions Obama's citizenship. It is a complicated issue, but the fact remains that Obama may not meet the qualifications to run for president, because he may have been adopted by his step-father....

greenconsciousnes: Are you honestly trying to say that O'Biden really believes that TV was online in 1929? Or that Roosevelt was the one on TV in 1929 addressing the crash? If it wasn’t a gaff then it could have one of two things:

1. He really is that stupid and/or doesn’t have a clue
2. He was on the sauce, as usual

Speaking as a Pennsylvanian, does he also believe that there are no “dirty health clogging coal plants” in the U.S. and China has them all? I refer to (1.) and (2.) once again.

“greenconsciousnes”:

“speaking the truth” is only relative if you have something intelligent to say. Saying that Roosevelt was on television in 1929 makes me extremely mad at my parents for not having installed one in our home in 1941 - - how selfish of them to deny me that pleasure.

Dear Sarah h,

So "control over" people is a good thing in your mind...? I suspect your lack of independence of thought is a measure of your being happy to be controlled by the Obama puppeteers. I am not, therefore, surprised that you don't understand us on this website. Calling us names only reinforces our belief that Obama supporters are immature, intellectually lazy and mind-"controlled." Good luck to you, but you really should let thoughtful adults handle these big issues and questions....

Isn’t anyone the least concerned that the “Huffington Post” has a video showing how to hijack a Debolt computer at election sites?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/marty-kaplan/how-to-hack-a-diebold-vot_b_26301.html

I have been concerned about ACORN’s fraud in signing up voters and now this! We need a paper trail and we need more oversite at and on our elections. We can no longer rely on the “honor system” when people are signing up for driver’s licenses and automatic voter registration. I think we need local police or officials to be at polls checking into the legality of voters. Perhaps in the future we need to have voter ID cards with pictures. At some point in the future we will probably have to have some sort of thumbprint system. I know this all sounds crazy, but crazy is having illegals, duplicates and deceased people voting in our elections and determining our next POTUS.

Obama would have us believe that he is "for women"--especially on issues like equal pay. The truth is he is so sexist and such a liar that he doesn't even pay his women staffers equal pay when compared to his male staffers. This article gives specifics.

Who elects our next president, the Voters or the Media??? The citizens of America might as well stay home on Election Day, why vote, go through all the trouble of facing bad weather or whatever, the media's already voted for you.-- The country has its candidate picked out, his name is OBAMA, he's fake as a 3$ bill, but so what, the media made the decision, so now we are headed towards socialism, bordering on communism. Same system as in Russia, Putin selected Medvedev, its all pro forma, America has caved to the liberal left, good bye capitalism and individual rights, its a thing of the past.-- Give up God, give up guns, give up freedom and the list goes on.--Too bad the country didn't listen to the good guys!!!

"Newsbusters" has a short piece about that bracelet Obama wears to uh remember some soldier dude. Apparently the family isn’t too happy he is wearing it.

Shockingly, however, Madison resident Brian Jopek, the father of Ryan Jopek, the young soldier who tragically lost his life to a roadside bomb in 2006, recently said on a Wisconsin Public Radio show that his family had asked Barack Obama to stop wearing the bracelet with his son’s name on it. Yet Obama continues to do so despite the wishes of the family.

Finally some clear voices in support of Sarah Palin. I've heard enough put downs of her....Yes, she screwed up a few points, but she has been at this VP busy for only 6 weeks and has screwed up fewer lines than either Biden or Obama. She is smart and competent; she'll learn what she needs to know in good time.

Here we go again--the double standard. Palin misspeaks from time to time; it doesn't wipe out her entire record of accomplishments. Making a misstatement makes her human. When Hillary Clinton misspoke about her recollections in Bosnia, it became headline news. She was called a liar. That in the face of the millions of accurate words and comments she made. You'd think she had done something really awful like try to negotiate on her own with a foreign leader. But when Obama actually does do that, it hardly gets a notice. When he says there are 57 states in the union and Biden says it is patriotic to pay more taxes, and they both plagiarize their speeches people laugh it off and make nothing of it.

When Obama has no foreign relations experience, is chairman of a committee he never convenes and makes a tour of Europe, acting like the presumptive president, he is given a free ride. But Sarah Palin is crucified--even with more experience and some actual accomplishments. That is called sexism, and I'm sick of it.

Voting for Obama is supporting sexism....

AMEN! to Sarah Palin's occasional defense. I am soooooo sick of all these double standards for women in the media, we might as well go on strike and boycott all the Television stations. Haven't the talking heads anything better to do than bash Sarah Palin, mock Sarah Palin, harass her , belittle her, or is it HuGE envy that she is so much better than the stupid men. By the way, they wouldn't dare mock or belittle Obama, he would SCREAM Racism, and threaten a Race war, and ol' gaffe Biden, well he isn't interesting enough to waste a breath on. They have to be careful about McCain, he's a POW, has terrible injuries to his limbs, is old and pale, so that leaves only one person to mock, and thats Sarah Palin, feisty, frisky, charismatic Sarah Palin, who stumbles and bumbles when she's too scripted. So they better let her be herself and let her rip and roar as she sees fit. So what if she doesn't know a few things, she'll learn in time, just like Bill Clinton, just like Reagan, just like all the others, who didn't have a long history of governmental knowledge. One thing is for sure, Sarah draws HUGE crowds, the people love her, in many ways she's just like Bill Clinton, connecting with the people, and thats whats important, that special connection with the people, everything else will come in due time. She'll be president one day, I can see it now, totally fullfilling her desire to do good things for the people of America, she's already done this for the folks in Alaska, good jobs, energy independence, stimulus checks, clean living, who could ask for more.----

An interesting tidbit from Larry Johnson at No Quarter:

Congressman Barney Frank, who chaired the House Financial Services Committee, had a boyfriend at Fannie Mae, Herb Moses. Talk about looking for love in all the wrong places. “Moses was the assistant director for product initiatives at Fannie Mae and had been at the forefront of relaxing lending restrictions at the company for rural customers, according to the Feb. 23, 1998, issue of National Mortgage News (NMN).”

You can see Frank defending Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on the YouTube video mentioned above.

So is Obama even eligible to run for president?

McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone, and was faced with a similar lawsuit. He simply produced the necessary documents and that was the end of the issue. It seems strange that Obama wouldn't do the same thing, but he appears to be fighting this lawsuit. Curious?

Are you aware that there is a lawsuit in the courts, challenging Obama's right to run for president, because he may not be a "properly documented" American citizen? And the Dems went on and on about McCain, claiming he didn't vet Sarah Palin properly. This suit may prove that Obama isn't eligible to run for the presidency.....It hasn't been dismissed yet, and Obama is refusing to produce the documents necessary to make it go away....

Double standard again: This is a list of the many points Biden got wrong during the debate. He is a lawyer and didn't even get the point on the constitution right. And yet, to hear commentators on PBS and other channels talk you'd think he was the smartest guy in the room.

He wasn't. Even the restaurant he talked about doesn't exist and may never have existed.
(see No Quarter.)

Once again, the media can put down a woman, this time Sarah Palin, but they give a pass to the guy even, if he is wrong. People talk about Biden's vast foreign relations experience and yet, many of the important details he gave in the debate about Israel and Iran were wrong.

So, why isn't it more frightening to think of Biden a "heat beat away from the presidency" than Palin? The obvious answer is that she is a woman--and a competent women is to scary for our sexist Democratic brethren, than a babbling, idiotic guy, like Biden.

Please do whatever you can in your communities to support the McCain/Palin ticket--especially in Ohio where it looks like there are efforts already afoot to steal the election....We're going to have to fight for every vote and for the truth. Thank you.

I am not voting except to write in Hillary -- the bail out and their past performance is proof that neither of these candidates will ever help the working class.

I like the Idea of Biden beeing a babbling Idiot, by Gosh, that expression suits perfectly... Listening to Biden babble on about nothing during the debate almost put me to sleep, didn't wake up until Sarah spoke with vigor, enthusiasm and exlamation marks. What a woman!!! I bet she has the dems rattling in their britches, Sarah's political future looks very bright and powerful, she'll be president one day, she'll be stepping in Ronald Reagan's footsteps, and the country will be better off for it.

And another babbling Idiot, Barney Frank, did anyone see the heated exchange between O'Reilly and Frank ?? Frank is the consumate Idiot in congress, how does he keep his position? No wonder the country is in such a mess with people like Frank, Pelosi, Dodd, Reid in charge, they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Dear God, can't we get some smart people to run this country ?????

Secrets:
Obama has several issues about which he is not giving us the whole truth. They include:

his birth certificate,

his school records from Columbia and Harvard--especially his senior thesis,

the records at the University of IL on the Ayers foundation for which he worked,

an explanation for why he gave up his license to practice law in IL,

an explanation for how it was he got a $300,000 discount on the purchase price of his house and a special interest rate for his mortgage,

details on foreign donations to his campaign,

a full disclosure of his relationship with ACORN and the use of the money he distributed through this organization

an explanation of all the complaints of fraud and coercion from the primaries and elections officials in the battleground states--especially Ohio..., etc.

The media is not only giving him a free pass on these issues, but if he needs to be this deceptive during the campaigns how are we to imagine he is going to become open and transparent in the White House? It isn't possible. The corruption and deceit will only continue and this country needs honesty in its leaders....Obama is really untrustworthy and dishonest.
